How many things are you currently struggling with as ‘unknowns’ in your life?
Perhaps:
Where will I live?
Who will I marry?
Will I ever meet anyone again?
Will I have enough money?
Will I get through this illness?
Will I cope with this job pressure?
What project shall I work on first?
Will I get through this difficult season?
Will I ever find a friend I can truly trust again?

There are so many unanswered questions in our minds at any given moment aren’t there? Many of them, if we are honest, based on fear, rather than on trust…

Yesterday I met up with a good pal for coffee and we talked about lots of unknown things that we are dreaming about.

The hour went so quickly. It was because we were speaking with so much hope and trust in God’s plans and not our own. I came away trusting God more for the things He will do. Not just in my life, but in the life of my friend and their family too.

The amazing lady Corrie Ten Boom once said:

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

How right she is!
We don’t need to fear the future. We have someone who never sleeps (and never grows weary) who is in charge of it. We don’t need to waste time worrying, “Am I in the right place, doing the right thing?” God is able to move us where He wants us if we are open to Him.

Trust is something the enemy can do nothing about. He cannot come near us when we display it and say it. So shout it LOUD today…
I TRUST YOU GOD! I TRUST WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE UP TO IN ME AND FOR ME!
