I was recently reading a verse in 2 Corinthians. Chapter 9 verse 8 really spoke to me for a number of reasons.

It says this:
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work.”

I thought about this a lot and noticed how often the tiny word ALL is used here…
All Grace
All things
All times
All you need
I think God was trying to draw me back to the ‘smALL print’, as it were. The thing is, we get carried away sometimes with our lives, preoccupied with so many things that we forget that God cares about ALL we go through.

There is nothing that this ‘All-ness’ leave out.
The other word that is repeated in the verse is the word ‘Abound’. Its a great character trait of Father’s to make His gifts ABOUNDING and abundant. Why does His grace to us abound? So that we will abound in every good work.

As I dwelt on this today, I felt a deep peace in my spirit. God does not ask us to abound in anything that He has not given us grace to achieve. He does not ask the impossible. Do you think that there are things in your life that YOU have asked yourself to do? Things that God may not be requiring of you at all?

If the grace is not there for that task, person, situation or circumstance, perhaps that is telling you something…?
