I am asking all my readers to join in with a national prayer initiative for the Police this coming Sunday.
This is what Reeding Our Communities (ROC) have posted.

“Uniting in Prayer to Show that We Care

The whole nation is feeling the impact of the tragic loss of two Police Officers, Nicola and Fiona. Our charity, ROC, has been working in partnership with the Police since 1998 and we feel prompted to do something to express our support at this time.

Police officers in Manchester had one minute of silence at 11am on Wednesday. We are asking churches and ROC supporters from across the UK to stand with the Police. Will you join us in one minute of silence at or around 11am on Sunday September 23rd or 30th?

Register that you are taking part so we can show the Police how much we appreciate them in what has been described as their darkest hour. Resources are being prepared to help you to take part in this act of prayer.

Please register at www.roc.uk.com/prayer and join the facebook event to keep up with the latest news.”

I think this is such a helpful signal to send to the Police at this time. Please join in with this simple initiative and help be an atmosphere changer in the UK.

Thank you.
